How to capture
In Scan choose Receipt or Document, take a photo or upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF (max 10 MB). On Windows, convert HEIC to JPG. Wait for “Digitizing with AI…” and check merchant, date, due date, lines, and total before Save.
The AI is wrong
That happens. Fix the field and save. Ahorio should not treat as fact what you did not confirm.
Country and supermarkets
In Profile → Country and supermarkets you pick the country. Currency follows the country. Then mark the markets you use or create one.
Demo and account
Without signing in you see a sample household. With email or Google, Apple, or Facebook, the session is yours. Sign-out does not wipe local demo by itself; Reset demo household restores sample data.
In-product privacy
Profile → Data / Privacy: which categories Ahorio uses, JSON export, and toggles for learning or suggested lists. The city price index is off in this version.
Alerts and Today
Today shows what needs attention from documents and receipts you saved, not live internet prices.
Delete the account
Profile → Delete account erases the household on this device and signs you out. Confirm by typing DELETE. That is not “Sign out”. If you had a registered account, the flow opens a message to privacy@ahorio.com to request server-side deletion. Account suspension for abuse is done by Ahorio; there is no “suspend myself” button.
